Just off the coast of Maine, lies an island called Averdeen. Life here seems pristine and calm and just basically the american dream....right?
Wrong. Not everything is as it seems here. The residents of this town are basically dead. They are moving and 'living' as though nothing out of the ordinary has happened. They have no idea that they are dead. This is a result of a test virus that a major genetics corporation had decided to use the island as a test site. Of course this corporation didn't know the extent of just what this virus could do.
Now the government has basically denied this town exists--however, there are people starting to visit this place. They are bent on keeping the towns secret just that--a secret and hidden from the outside world. as long as this secret is hidden things seem hunky dory and the residents can go on living a happy 'life'. Of course the lab isn't far from this town. they are just on the other side of the island, monitoring everything that goes on. ready to step in if something goes awry.
Besides that, paranormal things have begun happening withoug explanation. Strange lights have been seen. Mysterious disappearances have happened. What is really going on with this town?
Will you dig up the bones? Or leave the soul alone?
